Mrs. Haziel Modesitt
Mrs. Haziel Modesitt, 80, formerly of Terre Haute, died at 3:30 pm Thursday at the Hanover Nursing Home, Hanover, Ind. She was a retired school teacher who taught in Otter Creek Township for more than 40 years. She was a member of the Centernary United Methodist Church, Daughters of the American Revolution and the Indiana Teachers Association. She is survived by a son, Dr. Jackson Modesitt, Madison, Ind., and four grandchildren. Services will be at 2:30 pm Saturday at the Thomas Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 am Saturday.
