CONWAY--Mrs. Florrie Johnson Davis, 91, widow of SC Davis, of the Pee Dee section of Horry County, died Thursday at her residence. The funeral will be 4 p.m., Friday at Goldfinch Funeral Chapel Burial will be in Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis was born in Marion County, a daughter of the late Evander Johnson and Mrs. Elizabeth Atkinson Johnson. She was a member of Conway Southern Methodist Church and a life member of the United Methodist Women.
Surviving are three sons, C. Leon Davis of Pollocksville, NC, Palmer M. Davis of Gallivants Ferry, and Samuel Earl Davis of Conway; five daughters, Mrs. Reba D. Glasgow and Mrs. Sherrill McGinn, both of Conway, Mrs. Forrest K. Floyd of Murrells Inlet, Mrs. Thurmon McGraw of Waynesville, NC, and Mrs. Sidney Hassell of Roper, NC; 22 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
