Funeral services for Beverly J. Hedberg, 64, of West Bend, Wis., will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Lake Preston Lutheran Church with the Rev. John Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Lake Preston City Cemetery. She died Sunday, March 6, 1994 at Meriter Hospital in Madison, Wis. Visitation will be Thursday at Johnson Henry Funeral Home in Lake Preston from 6 - 8 p.m. and at the church on Friday form 1 p.m. until service. Beverly J. Helseth was born July 26, 1929 to John and Edith (Kukuk) Helseth at Huron. She was raised in Huron and graduated from Huron High School in the Class of 1947. She married Kenneth M. Hedberg June 29, 1949 at Huron. They lived in Lake Preston until moving to West Bend, Wis., in 1965. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church of West Bend and the ALCW and a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband Kenneth, a daughter Jeannine Hedberg of West Bloomfield, Minn.; two sons David of Albuquerque, N.M. and Blaine of Reedsburg, Wis.; two grandchildren; three sisters: Eleanor (Lee) Holmes of Rapid City, Bernice Lee of Sacramento, Calif., and Janice (Galen) Nelson of Huron; one brother Kenneth Helseth of Huron; several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
