Bruce Willie Anglin

Bruce Willie Anglin, age 74, of Old Fort, N.C., died Thursday November 3, 2005 in the McDowell Hospital.

Born in Yancey County to the late Charlie B. Anglin and Tincie Wheeler Anglin, he was a retired employee of Old Fort Finishing.

He was a member of the DAV of McDowell County and the Sons of Confederate Veterans.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Anglin was preceded in death by his step-mother Birdie Styles Anglin, a brother Cecil Anglin and two sisters, Irene Allen and Jerlene Shepherd.

Surviving are his wife Wilma Morris Anglin; one daughter Belinda Morris of Old Fort; one sister Ivery Baker of Burnsville, NC; a brother-in-law Paul Allen of Burnsville, NC and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held 2:00 o'clock Sunday November 6, 2005 in the McCall Memorial Chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home, Marion. Rev. Gary Norton officiated with burial following in Cherry Springs Memorial Park.
