Maurice Mott was the son Benjamin Waldron Mott and Cora S Whitlock.
Maurice married first in 1914 Florence Grace Roe, the daughter of George Willis Roe 1860 and Grace Maude Gillett. Florence died after the birth of their first child, Florence Grace (Hutton), in 1920.
Maurice married second Mae B Bell in 1921. They had four children.
Maurice was a business owner and president of the Mott Lumber Co. and the Grange Silo Co. He served as school board member, and as the Mayor of Red Creek.
