A truly kind, gentle spirit, she was born June 1, 1921 to loving parents, Andrew and Nellie Casper Besendorfer in Midway, Utah. Married Charles William Johnson, her sweetheart of 52 years. She devoted her life to those she loved and cared for a special daughter, Linda Jean, for 32 years. Her memory will be treasured forever in the many quilts she passed on with love.
Survived by son: Charles Richard (Dick) and Lou Ann Johnson, Salt Lake City; daughters, Katherine Marie Johnson, Ogden; Louise and Ralph Webb, West Jordan; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brother, Andrew Harold and Luana Besendorfer, Midway. A special niece, Patricia Ann Ford, Richfield, Utah. Preceded in death by her husband and daughter, Linda Jean Johnson; two great-grandchildren and three sisters.
Funeral services Monday, March 6th at 11 a.m. at Midway 4th Ward (150 No. Center). Friends may call at Olpin Mortuary, Sunday 6-8 p.m. and at the church Monday one hour prior to services. Burial, Midway Cemetery.
As the flowers bloom each spring, may we always remember your easy laughter, merry blue and rosy acceptance of life.
