Abstract--age 89, of Mount Laurel, N.J., formerly of Newburg, died Feb. 18, 2008. He was born in Newburg, a s/o the late Virgil and Cora Wright Taylor. He graduated from Newburg High School in 1937 and attended Clarksburg Business College. He served in the Navy for 22 years as Chief Petty Officer. He then received his Bachelor of Education degree from Glassboro State teacher College. He tought in Bells Township Elementry School for 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Betty J. Hitchner Taylor; three daughters and spouses, Sandra J. and John Stankard, of Oconowowoc, WI., Diane and Steve Case, of Mansfield, PA., and Linda I. and Nathan Johnson, of San Francisco, CA; one stepdaughter, Mary B. Juiliana, of Dearborn, MI; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Hortence Taylor, of Newburg. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Iris C. Price Taylor. Interment was in the Shay's Chapel Cemetery.
