Billy Jack "Wild Bill" Barefield, passed away Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009, after a difficult battle with Huntington's disease. An informal visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, at Bellmead Funeral Home. A graveside ceremony will be 11 a.m. Monday,Feb. 23, at Rosemound Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Caitlyn Nelson; mother, Amanda Adler Barefield; father, Jack Harold Barefield.

He is survived by daughters, Michelle Coleman and husband, Jimmy, Wendy Nelson and husband, Christopher, and Crystal Barefield and Jason Northcott; six grandchildren; sisters, Gayla and Deanna; and many other family members and friends.
