Yancy (Kemp) Jennings, 35, currently of Spokane, WA., stepped into glory on July 25, 2007. She was born September 14, 1971 at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. She attended school in Tuttle, OK and Mesa, Az. She is preceded in death by her father, Gary Kemp, and grandparents, Vera and LaVerne Kemp, Alpha Martin, and Ellis Horne. She is survived by husband, Milo and son Kyle of the home; her parents, Jim and Judy Horne of OKC, OK; sister Rebecca Kemp Patterson and family of OKC,OK; sister Kimberly Fortner of Plainfield, IL; sister Karen Carpenter and Brandi Hielaman and families of OKC, OK; brother Gary Kemp Jr.; sister, Kathy Kemp of Va; grandmother Opal Martin of OKC, OK; grandmother, Thelma Horne of Poteau, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Family will be receiving friends on Thursday, August 2 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life will be held Fri., Aug. 3, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Vondel Smith North Colonial Chapel. (From The Daily Oklahoman, August 2, 2007)
