Mrs. Annie Clark, 86, Buried Saturday

Mrs. Annie Celeste Mitchell Clark, 86, died last Wednesday in the Schleicher County Medical Center following a long illness.

Services were held Saturday afternoon in West Side Church of Christ with burial in Eldorado cemetery. Officiating were E.B. McCown of Abilene and the Rev. Kenneth Vaughan of Eldorado.

Pall bearers were H.M. Jones, T.P. Robinson Jr., Ronnie Sauer, Lum Davis, Palmer West, and W.C. Parks Jr.

She was born April 20, 1887 in Cornhill and married Jack Clark Aug. 17,1903 in Lampasas. The couple moved to Schleicher county in 1924.

She was preceded in death by four of her chldren: A.G. Clark, Garth Clark, Pauline Aycock and Bernice Clark, and by her husband Jack who died in 1955.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Jewel Hodges of Eldorado, Mrs. Frances Walton of Big Lake and Mrs. Amy Williamson of Cottonwood, Calif.; one son, W.R. Clark of Chandler, Ariz.; two brothers, R.R. Mitchell of Canton, and F.O. Mitchell of Gatesville; one sister, Mrs. Ammer Carter of Fort Stockton; 20 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
