JONESBORO -- Revalee Hurd Burton, 80, of Jonesboro, died Friday evening, Feb. 17, at St. Bernard's Medical Center.
She was born in Paragould and had lived in Jonesboro more than 40 years, moving here from Dickson, Tenn. She was a retired sales manager for World Book Encyclopedia and was a member of Southwest Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents Elgin and Mary Martha Hurd.
Survivors include her husband, E. Winston Burton of the home; a daughter, Kay Moore of Dickson; two sons, Keith Burton of Houston, Texas, and Phil Burton of Jonesboro; two sisters, Laverne Hurd of Salem and Jan Dukes of Dadeville, Ala.; seven grandchildren, Rodney Burton, Sarah Spencer, Kristen Burton, Jan Humphries, Michael Fields, Bill Burton and Bart Burton; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 p.m. Monday at Emerson Memorial Chapel, with Jimmy Adcox and Richard Akins officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers will be the grandsons and son-in-law Wendell Moore and great-grandson Ryan Honea.
Honorary pallbearers include members of the New Horizons and Faith Builders Sunday School classes from Southwest Church of Christ.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. today at Emerson Funeral Home.
