Mrs. Gladys Banks of Park Ave., Centerville, Iowa passed away Thursday, May 28 at 6:10 p.m. at the age of 51 years, 10 months, and 16 days. Born on a farm in the Sharon Chapel community July 12, 1912. She was the daughter of David N. and Evelyn McCoy Daniels.
She was married to Harold Banks October 28, 1931, who survives her passing along with two children Gerald Banks of Centerville, Iowa and Dorothy Wolver of R.F.D., Moravia, Ia; four grandchildren, a brother, Walter Daniels of Centerville, Ia, and three sisters, Mrs. Virgie Fry of Ottumwa, Ia, Mrs. Edith Seals of Centerville, Ia and Mrs. Ada Stevens of Centerville, Ia. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Bert and Carl Daniels, two sisters and three brothers in infancy. She was a member of the Baptist church.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 31 at 3 p.m. from the Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Carleous Cemarest officiating and the burial will bein the Sharon Chapel Cemetery.
