Delores Maurine Hammerstrom died on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009 at the age of 83 years and 18 days.
Delores was born to Dick H. and Anna (Hickman) Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin in November, 2007.
She is survived by her loving family, daughter Sheryl Korsch (Heinz) of Kelowna, BC, Canada; three sons: Lynn Hammerstrom (Nila) of Belle Fourche, South Dakota, Arden Hammerstrom (Renae) of Minneota, Minnesota, Kevin Hammerstrom (Sara) of Richmond, BC; five grandchildren: Michael (Gayla), Nathan (Emily), Ivy (Steve), April (Nathan), Amanda (Luke); five great grandchildren and several cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, Feb. 20 at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church, 1905 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC, Canada with interment in the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery.
