Mrs. Elizabeth "Bettye" Anne Duke Jackson, 79, died Sunday, December 21, 2008, at Baptist Memorial Hospital North MS in Oxford, Miss.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church with Dr. Robert Allen and Dr. Eric Hankins officiating.

Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. in the Atrium at First Baptist Church.
A Graveside Service will be held prior to the Service and Visitation at 9:30 A.M. at St. Peter's Cemetery.

Mrs. Jackson was the Widow of Mr. James Cecil Jackson, Sr.

She was a Member of First Baptist Church and a Retired School Teacher.
She was an active Member of the 8th Air Force Historical Society and the Mississippi 8th Air Force Veterans Group.

She is survived by her Daughter, Celia Roberts and Husband, Ed, of Oxford; one Son, Jim Jackson and Wife, Laura, of Jackson, TN; five Grandchildren, Mike, Scott and Lisa Roberts all of Oxford, MS, and Mary Elizabeth and Sims Jackson both of Jackson, TN and eight Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three Brothers and a Grandchild, Trip Roberts.
