Mr. Keaffaber was retired from the Roann Farm Bureau elevator. He was a life member of the Roann American Legion, the United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge, and Paw Paw Township Farm Bureau. He was the last surviving World War I veteran from the Roann Legion.
