Known as Clem Isaacson, he was born April 16, 1918, in Felch, son of the late Emil and Mary (Johnson) Isaacson.
Clem worked as a dock man for the Teamsters in Milwaukee until his retirement in 1980, and then moved back to the Metropolitan area.
He married Vera Bourn on March 24, 1962, in Milwaukee. She preceded him in death on June 27, 1998.
Clem Isaacson was a life time member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Felch-Breen Post and the Eastern Dickinson County Sportsmans Club.
He was an avid sports fan, including the Packers and North Dickinson sports and booster club. He had a love for farm animals, especially horses.
He leaves two brothers, Glen (Elsie) Isaacson of Livonia, lower Michigan, and Alvin Isaacson of Sussex, Wis.; five sisters, Jeanette (Orin) Thykesen of Vancouver, Wash., Clarine (Wilber) Bergemann of Milwaukee, Virginia Vick of Hales Corner, Wis., Betty Johnson of Seattle, Wash., and Fern Isaacson of Iron Mountain; a sister-in-law, Norma Isaacson of Iron Mountain, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Leander Isaacson, Arnold Isaacson, Mervin Isaacson, and infant brother, Liman Isaacson, and a sister, Eleanor Isaacson.
Funeral: Felch Mountain Bible Chapel. The Rev. Bruce Tanner officiated.
The Felch-Breen VFW Post conducted military graveside services.
Pallbearers: Roger Isaacson, Mark Isaacson, and Arnie Isaacson, Gordie Yaeger, Dennis Stanford and Rob Nord.
