Judy Brenneman, 65, of Smithville, MO, passed away, Wednesday, February 18, 2009.
She was born on March 9, 1943 to William Alfred and Dorothy Mae (Pait) King in Smithville, Missouri. Judy grew up in the Paradise area and attended school in Smithville.
Judy was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Trimble-Smithville. She served as Associate to the Pastor for several years, and was active in the church and taught Sunday School.
She worked for Marsh-McLennen, Reed Stenhouse, Alexander & Alexander and Westrope and Associates.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Matthew King; sister, Lettie Braden; children, Peter, Gentry and Toby Shikles.
She is survived by two sons, Ernest C. Shikles and wife, Gena, Humble, TX, and Aaron Brenneman and wife, Ines, Melbourne, Australia; five grandchildren: Christina McCully and husband Curtis, Beatrix, Phoenix and Eliza Lou Brenneman; sister, Darlene Gilliam and husband, Ed; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21st at the Community of Christ Church, Smithville, MO.
Burial: Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Trimble, MO.
