DIED
We last week mentioned the death of Chandler Lambert, of Eureka, which occurred on Saturday, October 10th. Since that issue we have ascertained the following particulars: Mr. Lambert was 75 years, 6 months, and 11 days old at the time of his demise. He was married on July 4, 1863, to Miss Martha Ferree and to this union were born nine children, four of whom are yet living. They are: T. O. and Elmer Lambert, with whom the old gentleman made his home; Mrs. Lizzie Beltz, Audubon, and Mrs. Nannie Walters, Cornwallis, Oregon. Mrs. Lambert died on July 31 of last year. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. A. Y. Cupp from the home on Sunday, October 11th, and interment was made in the Messena cemetery.
