Almo Rogers Harrington was the son of John Tyler Harrington and Hannah Amanda Ellsworth Harrington. He was the grandson of James Harrington and Mary Haws.

Almo married Ada Straub, at Coupeville, Washington. Ada was born on 8 March 1884. She was the daughter of John Jacob Straub and Mary Ann Waterworth Straub. Their daughter was Mona Almo Harrington.

In 1930 Almo, Ada, Mona and Almo's nephew, Forest Dremolski were living in Prairie, Island County, Washington. Living close by was Almo's brother George Hal Harrington.
