Althon Huel Adair, 81, De Queen, Arkansas, died November 12, 2005 in Christus St. Michael Hospital, Texarkana, Texas.

He was born September 19, 1924 in Sevier County, Arkansas to Ellis and Mae Gore Adair. He was a veteran of WW II having served in the U.S. Air Force with Air Operation Specialists in the 61st Air Craft Control. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a retired construction supervisor.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, two brothers, Paul and Hubert Adair; daughter Alana Faye Whisenhunt; two grandchildren Carey Lee Elrod and Gabriel Keith Adair.

He was survived by his wife of over 56 years, Freda Parks Adair of De Queen; one son Althon "Al" Adair of El Dorada, Arkansas; two daughters Pam Elrod of Longview, Texas, and Lisa Wray of Lockesburg, Arkansas; one sister Marjorie (Adair) Barrick of Orange, Texas; eight grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
