Born in Ireland, Aged Woman Came to America Sixty-five Years Ago - Funeral Saturday.
Mrs. Margaret Collins Blair, wife of Thomas Blair, died at the residence in Kittanning Township, near Blanket Hill on Wednesday evening. Mrs. Blair was born near Auld, Ireland, March 18, 1839 and came to America sixty-five years ago.
Although she had nearly reached the ninetieth milestone, Mrs. Blair was very active in the affairs about her home.
Mrs. Blair is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Blose, of Blanket Hill and three sons, Joseph, James, and Hugh all of the same neighborhood; she is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Services will be held at the Simpson church on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock.
