She was a native of Blackshear and had been a resident of Glynn County most of her life. She attended Brunswick Beauty College and was a member of First Baptist Church in Brunswick.
SURVIVORS: a daughter, Joyce Knox Tate of Brunswick; a son, Joe B. Knox Jr. of Brunswick; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: 7-9 p.m. today at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: 3 p.m. Monday at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, burial in Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery.
