Thomas F. "Freddy" Gore, 62, of Myrtle Beach, SC, died August 26, 2006. Freddy was born July 13, 1944, the son of the late Frederick E. Gore and Elois Sellers Gore, who survives.
Freddy retired from DuPont in 1996. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and a former longtime member of Supply Baptist Church. He was an avid North Carolina Tarheel fan and an Atlanta Braves fan.
Freddy is survived by a son, Mark Gore and his wife Angela; two daughters, Michelle Stevens and her husband, Andrew, and Misti Wooten and her husband, Kelly; a brother, Phillip Gore and his wife, Janice. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Kendal, Kayla, Garrett, Dustin, Laney, Lynsey and Liddi; one great-grand, Cadance; and two nephews; Michael and Christopher.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service and Crematory, Rt. 17, Supply, NC.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday Supply Baptist Church, Supply, NC.
Pallbearers will be Benjamin Sellers, Jimmy Sullivan, Jackie Potter, Michael Gore, Christopher Gore, Garrett Vernelson and Dustin Vernelson.
