Robert was born in Wisconsin to Wilhelm F Vielbaum and Berta Gertner. His parents came from Germany and arrived in Wisconsin. Everyone called Robert "Bob". He met Frankie Crockett and they had one daughter. His daughter Beula is only child he had.

He walked over and petted it. When he turned his back it jumped up and knocked him down and would have killed him but he crawled under his car until it went away. He was hurt in the chest and was never well again.
