Paul Donald Anderson, 64, of Dayton died Saturday, February 14, 2009 in Liberty.

He was born August 24, 1944 in DeRidder, Louisiana to parents Walter Lee and Lillian Brown Anderson. He graduated in 1963 from Istrouma High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and had lived in Zachary, Louisiana before moving to Dayton 28 years ago. He worked for Exxon for over 31 years before retiring and cooked with their B-B-Q Cookers. Donald was a member of the Young Farmers, volunteered for the local 4-H Chapter, enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing golf, working with horses, and gardening.

Services for Mr. Anderson will be 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandson: Devin K. Anderson and brother: Jimmie Anderson. He is survived by his wife of 46 years: Betty Brue Anderson of Dayton; his daughters: Donna Petters and husband Vincent of Dayton Jessica Lynn Stanley and husband Shane of Dayton; his sons: Paul Donald Anderson and wife Michelle of LaPorte, and Brian Anderson and wife Lisa of Kenefick; ten grandchildren one great-grandchild; brothers: Steve Anderson of LA, Robbie Anderson and wife Norvella of TX, Walter Lee Anderson, Jr. and wife Gleta of LA, Fred Anderson and wife Sammie of LA, Richard Anderson and wife Katy of LA, and Hershell Anderson of LA; sisters: JoDell Welborn and husband Robert of LA, and Beverly Cable and husband Larry
