A retired farmer, Mr. Anderson was a native of Kemper County, Miss., but had lived most of his life in Clarke County until he moved to Pascagoula 15 years ago. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lydia E. Anderson; a daughter, Mrs. Clifton L. Locke, Pascagoula; a son, the Rev. William A. Anderson, Atlanta, Ga.; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Jackson County Park Memorial Cemetery.
