Audrey graduated from Lincoln County High School in 1945. She married Glenn W. Roden and together they had a son named Dennis.
In 1964 she worked on the Panaca bi-centennial committee. She also served in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and held callings in the Relief Society, Primary, and Sunday School.
Audrey had a love for flowers- especially roses. She enjoyed being outdoors, going on picnics, and picking pine nuts. She loved to travel and went with her family and friends everywhere. She was a very orderly and meticulous person; her home and yard were always immaculate.
She is survived by her son, Dennis (Dana) Roden of Panaca, NV, 2 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Audrey is also survived by her sister Beverly (Jack) Lane of Panaca, NV. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn W. Roden, parents Lloyd and Ada Mathews, and her sister Shirley Mathews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday February 14, 2009 at the Panaca LDS Church. Interment will be in the Panaca Cemetery under the direction of Southern Nevada Mortuary
