He was a native of Decatur, but had resided in George County for 45 years. He was a member of the Rocky Creek Baptist Church and a retired Wade tung oil farmer. He died May 30 at Glen Oaks Nursing Home.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Kate Barham Cobb of Lucedale; three daughters, Jerolyn Williams, also of Lucedale; Henra Ann Clark of Omaha, Neb.; and Lynn Tierney of Seattle, Wash.; and eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Also surviving is a a brother Fred E. Cobb of Dayton, Ohio.
Services were conducted by Rev. Roy T. Myers and Dr. Brad Curry. Interment was in the Rocky Creek Cemetery, with Barham Funeral Home of Meridian in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Buddy Howard, Jeremy Howard, Biran Howard, Barry Williams, Ben Clark and Henry Clark.
