Adah Lee Williams was the seventh of nine children born to Georgia and Edom Partee in Gregory, Arkansas May 17. 1934. Her siblings and parents all preceded her in death.

"Mul" (as she was called by many) displayed her strength at an early age when she moved from Augusta, Arkansas to St. Louis, Missouri in the mid fifties with three children under the age of five. Later in her young life she had four more children and continued the struggle of raising them all alone. The care and well being of her children were her major concerns.

Mother Williams epitomized the role of a "true matriarch" throughout her life. She confessed her hope in Christ in St. Louis, at the True Light M.B. Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. E. Stanley Howlett. She continues her Christian journey in Phoenix, Arizona at The Greater Progressive Christian Church, where she served as a faithful member under the leadership of Pastor Gray L. Ransom. She was proud to be a faithful servant of the Mother's Ministry.

Of the seven children born to Adah, two preceded her in death, Tamra Charmane (1959-2000), Edom Everett (1952-2002). She leaves to cherish wonderful memories: one aunt, Viola (Ted) Turner, of Flint, Michigan, three daughters, and two sons, Milton (Remonia) Williams of Clarksville, Tennessee, Sylvia Wyatt of St. Louis, Missouri, Tanya (Kenneth) Taylor of Scottsdale, Arizona, Tritobia (Bishop Courtney) Jones and Terence Williams of St. Louis, Missouri, fifteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren.
