Wm. H. Graham Called By Death
William H Graham 74 a resident of Moab for many years died Saturday at Provo where he had lived for several months Death resulted from a heart ailment.
The body was brought to Moab and funeral services were held Tuesday from the LDS ward chapel presided over by Bishop W. R. McConkie speakers were J Reed Lance and Bishop McConkie and the opening and closing prayers were offered by F.M. Shafer and George A Newell respectively Mrs. C.J. Meador and Mrs. Guss Hurst sang "That Beautiful Land", "Unanswered Yet", and "In the Sweet Bye and Bye" being accompanied by Mrs. Ola Walker at the cemetery the dedicatory prayer was given by F.M. Shafer and a ladies Quartet sang "God Be with You". The Pallbearers were Len Stocks, Pete Stocks, Victor Murphy, Tom Murphy, Otto Murphy and David Perkins Jr. many friends attended the services.
Mr. Graham was born at Salt Lake City, Oct 15, 1968 in 1900 he married Jane Fausett at Heber City and they resided at Midway for a number of years. Coming to Moab about the year 1907 they made this their home until 1914 when they moved to La Sal. At Moab Mr. Graham followed the trade of painting. The family resided at La Sal from 1914 to 1926 when they returned to Moab they lived here continuously until less than a year ago when on account of their age and family health Mr. and Mrs. Graham moved to Provo to be cared for at an infirmary there Mrs. Graham recently sustained an injury in a fall and was unable to come to Moab for the funeral.
Mr. Graham was survived by his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Eola Stocks and a granddaughter Miss Betty Graham.
