Pax, Dies at 70
MOUNT HOPE (RNS) - Charles
A. Blake, 70, Pax, died at 9 p. m.
Monday at his home after suffer-
ing a heart attack.
Born at Paintsville March 25,
1885, he was a son of the late
Oliver and Lucinda Lively Blake.
He was a carpenter by trade and
a member of the Long Branch
Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs.
Clara Brunk Blake; three sons,
Leonard, Australia; and John D.
and Richard L., both of Pax; six
daughters, Mrs. Opal McNeely
and Mrs. Beulah Fraizer, both of
Pax; Mrs. Erma Jeffrey, Ger-
many; Mrs. Ruby Tyree, Route 1,
Mount Hope; Mrs. Myrtle Stress-
man, Louisiana; and Mrs. Char-
lotte Severance, Ohio; one broth-
er, Clark, Route 1, Scarbro; two
sisters, Mrs. Mealie Williams,
Route 1, Scarbro; and Mrs. Emma
Legg, Oak Hill; 25 grandchildren
and one great-grandchild.
The body is at the Tyree Fu-
neral Home, Mount Hope. Funeral
arrangements are incomplete.
