WALTERBORO - James Henry Koger, Jr., 83, a retired rural and city mail carrier for 30 years, died Friday at St. George Health Care. He was the second husband of Laveta Maudine Long with one son William Gary Koger and two stepsons James Wesley Cook and John Ralph Cook.
Mr. Koger was born December 10, 1918, in Walterboro, a son of the late James Henry Koger and Susie Calfee Koger. He was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church and the Walterboro Lions Club.
