Paul J. Snider, son of the late Paul Scott Snider and Etta Shipman Snider, was born on April 1, 1934, at rural Dexter and died in the St. Francis Medical Center at Cape Girardeau on Friday, Feb. 13, 2009, at the age of 74.
Mr. Snider was a farmer, a veteran of the United States Air Force and a resident of rural Dexter.
He is survived by three sons, Bruce Snider of Nashville, Tenn., Stan Snider and Bobby Snider, both of Dexter; three daughters, Tanya Wilson of Jackson, Kathy Wyrick of DeSoto and Cheryl Snider of Dexter; two sisters, Mary Jo Clark of Nashville, Tenn., and Judy Ross of St. Louis; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Bob Snider on Sept. 2, 2000.
Graveside services were conducted Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield. Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home of Dexter was in charge of arrangements.
