Funeral services for George J. Castrop, 87, are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg.

Officating will be the Rev. Msgr. Bernard Timpe. Burial in the parish cemetery.

Mr. Castrop of Vienna, died Wednesday night at St. Mary's Hospital.

He was born Oct. 10, 1880, in Osage County, the son of George J. and Marie Schaffer Castrop. He married Celestine Anna Meyer and she survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Henry Castrop Linn, Daniel Castrop, El Reno, Okla., Ferdinand Castrop, Kearney, Neb.

Six daughters, Mrs. John Poetgeon and Mrs. Frank Luetkemeyer, both of Freeburg, Mrs. Carl Mertz, Lansing, Mich., Mrs. Norman Kolar, Jefferson City, Mrs. Peter Eyermann, Kirkwood, Mrs. Wayne Gollub, Chesterfield; one brother, August Castrop, Westphalia.

Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. Rose Farch, Jefferson City and 31 grandchildren.
