Obituary:
Agamemnon (Aggie) Nickles, 67, of 849 Hillard Ave. in Cambridge died at 9:45 p.m. Tuesday at Guernsey Memorial Hospital following an illness of several weeks. Mr. Nickles was born Dec. 22, 1908 at Mansfield and was the owner of the Gas Light Inn in Cambridge. He also was a member of Cambridge Lodge No. 632 F&AM, Scottish Valley of Cambridge and BPOE No. 448. He was a Veteran of World War II. Surviving are his widow, the former Mable Zaharias; one son Marcus of the home; three daughters, Miss Mary Anne Nickles of Columbus; Miss Ellen Revecca Nickles of North Hollywood, Calif. and Mrs. Olin (Thialia) Johannsen of Columbus; one brother, Marcus Nickles of Parkersburg, W. Va.; three sisters, Mrs. James Chase of Parkersburg, W. Va., Mrs. James Gregory of Miami Beach, Fla. and Miss Ann Nickles of State College, Penn. Friends may call at the Thorn Funeral Home in Cambridge 1 to 9 p.m. today. Services will be held at 1 pm Friday at the funeral home with burial in Northwood Cemetery.
