Donald E. Westfall, 73, of 425 E. 11th Street, Rushville, died at 9:40 A.M. Monday, April 22, 1996 in Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born Oct. 1, 1922 in Columbus, he was the son of Elmer and Judith Colvin Westfall. He married Judith Lushell on July 3, 1953 and she peceded him in death April 5, 1973. He later married Betty June Craven June 20, 1981 and she survives. He had lived in Rushville most of his life. He was a member of Phoenix Lodge F & AM in Rushville, American Legion Post No. 15 in Rushville; Rishville VFW; and Scottish Rite in Indianapolis. He was a veteran of World War II. He retired from the Chevy truck plant in Indianap9olis in 1985 after 30 years of service.

Surviving besides his wife are one son, Donald A. Westfall of Louisville, KY; two stepdaughters: Alberta (Mrs. David) Montgomery of Warsaw and Sandra (Mrs Larry )Muckerhide of Greensburg; two grandchildren: and five step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services are 10 am Wednesday at Moster & Cox Mortuary in Rushville with Warren Engel officiating. Burial is at Rushville East Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 today at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
