Catherine Adams
__Catherine M. Adams, widow of Orville H. Adams, a resident of Cedar Rapids 45 years before moving to Seattle in 1950, died there Monday. She was born Sept. 19, 1876 at Marshalltown.
__Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Frederick Root, of Seattle.
__Mrs. Adams was a member of Prospect Congregational church and Seattle Chapter No. 95 O.E.S. in Seattle, Washington. She was also a member of Gethsemane White Shrine and the daughters of the Nile.
__Memorial services will be conducted in the Turner Chapel east at a time to be announced later. Burial will be in Linwood cemetery.
__Members of the family will be staying at the Frederick Fluegel residence, 2345 Blake boulevard SE, when they arrive in Cedar Rapids.
