Danny Jack Lester of Springville, IN, died Thursday, October 8, 1998, from injuries sustained in a truck accident. Born on January 10, 1943, in Bedford, IN, he was the son of Herbert C. and Dottie (Kelly) Lester. He married Patricia J. Godsey on June 7, 1963, and she survives.
Also surviving are three sons: Daren and Barry Lester, both of Springville, IN, and Kristin Lester of Bedford, IN; his father, Herbert C. Lester of Springville, IN; and two brothers: Bruce Lester of Springville, IN, and Joe Lester of Texas. He was preceded in death by his mother.
He worked at Cummins Engine Corp. in Columbus, IN, and was a member of the Engineering Union with Cummins Diesel. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God in Bedford.
Services for Danny Lester will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 11th, at the Day & Carter Mortuary with the Revs. Roger Reynolds and David Brock officiating. Burial will follow in Springville West Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded at the graveside by members of the American Legion Gillen Post #33, Bedford.
