Funeral services for Joy Gwendolyn Sheperd of Irving were scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 26 at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bert Affleck officiating. Burial was in Loraine Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home, Inc.
Mrs. Sheperd died April 23, 1995 in Irving. She was born December 17, 1924 in Snyder and had been a resident of Irving for three years. She was an INS claims supervisor at Hendrick Medical Center. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Rita Cheek of Lucas, Texas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Warren Shaw and Sandra and Luke Ramsey, both of Irving; a brother, T J. Green, Jr. of Loraine; three sisters, Blossom Brustrom of Corpus Christi, Eleanor Scrivner of Irving and Patsy Allfleck of Dallas and 10 granchildren.
