Henry Burton Davis was born in Suwanee, Gwinnett, Co. Ga. on 11 July 1880, to Carter Ervin Davis (1854-1919)and Mary Emma (Moon)Davis (1860-1938)He was the 2nd of 10 children. Married (First time to) Minnie Lee Jones, on 04 April 1903 in Gwinnett Co. Ga. They had six (6) children, Thelma 1904, Reba 1906, Ora Belle 1910 & Billy Sunday, and the other two (2) of these died at and early age.(2nd marriage) Ruby Lee (Williams) Davis 1903-1992)in Gwinnett Co. Ga. they had two (2) children by this marriage, Dorthy Jean Davis (CONLEY) and Reuben Glenn Davis. Mr. Davis was and engineer for Southern Railway for many years.
