Following information furnished by James David Hopper: My ggggrandfather fought on the Union side and he died in Nashville of small pox while in the army. He was in the 1st Tennessee Light Artillary-Company C. commanded by Capt. Vincent Meyers. He enlisted in 1863 and died the following year. He was a Corp. and was also forty one or forty two when he enlisted at Camp Nelson, KY on 6-1863
It it is believed by family Solomon is buried in a Goverment Cemetery in Nashville, TN,
