James C. Corley, 65, of 1173 Cuyamaca Ave. Chula Vista, was a real estate broker since retirement from the Navy as a lieutenant commander. He died Sunday in a hospital.
Services conducted Wednesday in Hubbard Mortuary were followed by cremation. Graveside services are scheduled at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow in Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery.
A native of Wilkesboro N.C., Corley was a county resident 17 years. A veteran of 30 years in the Navy, he was a member of the Retired Officers Assn.; Robert Scholer Post of Veterans of Foreign Wars; Branch 61, Fleet Reserve Assn., and the National Assn. for Uniform Services.
Surviving are his widow, Dorothy, two sons, and a brother.
