William "Glen" Farley was born on Aug 4 1896 in Harrison, Boone Co., Arkansas to Leonidas Ancel Farley and Eda Frances Holt. He joined an older brother, James "Greeley" Farley who had been born in 1897. After Glen was born, five more were to follow: Clyde, Marie, Dora E., Roy and Ethel M. Farley.

William Glen Farley married Bertha Irene Landreth and together had twelve children:

Note: the first 4 children I have listed, I am unsure of their birthdates so for them I am unsure of their birth order. I believe that William Glen, Jr was the firstborn. From Glenna on down, the birth orders are correct.

Glen's wife died on July 8 1966 and he followed her some years later on March 28 1983. He was affectionately known as "Granddad" by all his grandkids, and by my aunt, Martha Jane Crowder Farley.

According to his son Leroy and daughter-in-law Martha Jane, there was only one "N" in his name, Glen. And also, according to my notes, he was born in 1898.
