Born Chicago, Cook, Illinois to Ferdinand Augustus b.1884 and Mary Jessee Wight Charlebois b.1889. Mary Jessee was dead in less than four months. Ferdinand Augustus emigrated to Arizona Territory there marrying Juanita Swanee Reese b.1890. F Richard remained with his maternal grdparents Edwin J. and Anna T. Hayes Wight. F. Richard is in Chicago until the 1930 census a boarder and in 1940 in Glendale, Maricopa, AZ with his Uncle Martin and Aunt Mattie Charlebois, learning the sheep ranching business. In 1955 F Richard joined the Navy and served in the Korean War. Died in El Cajon CA where he was living and buried with honors in Fort Rosecrans National Military cemetery.
