Ada Jane Acuff, 65, of Spruce Pine, N.C. passed away Thursday February 12, 2009 at the Blue Ridge Regional Hospital.
A native of Mitchell County she was the daughter of Gervace Ray and Vernice Gouge Queen.
She owned and operated Jane's Beauty Salon for over 30 years before retiring and was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Herbert Acuff, Sr. and a sister Margaret Queen Hughes.
