My 4th-great grandfather, William Blackburn Elliott, was the son of Rev. War patriot William Elliott and his wife Miriam Leath (daughter of Josiah and Elizabeth Leath). He married Margaret Austin March 27, 1835. They had 13 children: Josiah, Ailcy, Jonathan, Nancy, George, Sarah, Mary Jane, William, Julia, Zachary, Martha, Susan, and John.

Birth dates of William's wife, Margaret, and her Austin siblings are found in the bible of her nephew, John Buchanan Austin, son of Margaret's brother, Elijah F. Austin. I found this bible record listing Margaret's and her siblings' birth and/or death information (children of Jonathan Austin) in the publication "Sequatchie Valley Bible Records" by James L. Douthat, printed 1985.
