Death stalked Highway 84 for the first time this year when a tire blew out on a truck two miles south of Eloy Monday night, killing B.F. Anderson, 51, and his son, Albert, 28. Mrs. Anderson, wife of B.F. Anderson, was seriously injured and brought to the Casa Grande Hospital for treatment for cuts and bruises. The Andersons live in Eloy.
Al Sizemore, who investigated the accident, said a tire blew out when the truck was traveling about 50 miles an hour. Mr. Anderson lost control of the car and it turned over, pinning both men underneath it.
