Clory J. died peacefully on Saturday, February 14, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. Clory was preceded in death by her husband Lupe Chavez, her son Frank Chavez, her grandson Jonathan-James Chavez, and her parents Frank and Lydia Gutierrez. She is survived by her two daughters, Drucy and husband Flaviano Aragon, and Frances and husband Herman Santillanes and her daughter-in-law Liz Chavez. Three grandchildren, Sharon and husband Chris Chavez, Raul Santillanes, and Ruben Aragon, three great-granddaughters, Janelle, Dyan and Justine Chavez, and a special little friend, Dallas Schmidt. Clory was a member of the Cuba Presbyterian Church. Per Clory's request: A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cuba Presbyterian Church. Interment to follow at the Cuba Presbyterian Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Chavez, Ruben Aragon, Sosteno Gutierrez, Felix Gutierrez, Vic Belarde, and Mel Salaz. A special thanks to Carol Chase and also to the staff of Hospice of the Sandias for their support.
