Deceased Name: Paskal Bowser, ex-deputy marshal, dies
Paskal D. "Dusty" Bowser, 54, a veteran law enforcement officer for the U.S. Marshal's Service, died yesterday in Chula Vista Community Hospital where he was undergoing cancer treatment.

Mr. Bowser retired as senior chief deputy marshal here in December 1980. He joined the Marshal's Service in Washington in 1956, after serving as an officer with the Prince Georges County Police Department in Maryland.

As a marshal specializing in extradition, Mr. Bowser had to return prisoners from far-off locations ranging from the Soviet port of Odessa on the Black Sea to Cambodia, Norway and Peru.

Mr. Bowser, a native of Greene County, Tenn., is survived by his wife, Audrey; two sons, Richard of Prattville, Ala., and Charles of Chula Vista; three daughters, Elaine Caddy of Tacoma, Diane Williams of Chula Vista and Lisa Bowser of Spring Valley; his mother, Rita; a brother, Phil; and a sister, Alma Davis, all of Pontiac, Mich. Services are planned for 2 p.m. Saturday at First Christian Church in Chula Vista. Cremation is planned and ashes will be interred at Fort Rosecrans National Cemet ery. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
