Marvel A. McCauslin

Marvel A. McCauslin, 80, of 1360 Wenksville Road, Biglerville, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, at the Gettysburg Village Green Nursing Center, 867 York Road, Gettysburg. She was the wife of Guy L. McCauslin, who died in 1978.

Born Sept. 25,1912, in Menallen Township, Adams County, she was a daughter of the late A. Waybright and Catherine D. Kuhn Black.

She was a seasonal employee of the former C.H. Musselman Co. Pet Milk Inc. in Gardners and Knouse Foods Coop Inc. in Peach Glen, for 11 years before retiring in 1977. She was a member of the Wenksville United Methodist Church and the Ladies Sunday school class.

She is survived by five sisters, Mearl G. Miller of Biglerville, Alice E. Showers and Edna M. Showers, both of Aspers, Ruth H. Gulden of Gettysburg and Dorothy M. Heller of Biglerville; two brothers, Charles F. Black of Biglerville and Donald R. Black of Aspers; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday from the Dugan Funeral Home Inc., 111 S. Main St., Bendersville, with the Rev. Douglas M. Eberly officiating.

Interment will be in Wenksville Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
